Matt, a second-generation wood floor craftsman, inherited a passion for hardwood from his father. His childhood summers were spent immersed in the family flooring business, learning the trade firsthand. After high school, he pursued a demanding career as a Professional Firefighter and EMT, bravely serving his community on 24-hour shifts. But his love for woodworking never faded. For twelve years, he juggled the intense schedule of a firefighter with the demands of running his own hardwood flooring business on his days off, a true one-man show. Then, in 2021, an opportunity arose to acquire the very company where his passion first ignited. The rest, as they say, is history. Today, Matt continues to build on his family's legacy, but when he's not crafting beautiful floors, he can be found enjoying nature walks with his wife and two daughters.
